Stop Paying for the Logo on Your Piglet Heat Lamps
Let’s be honest: a lot of people spend way too much money on “big brand” infrared lamps. They think they’re buying better quality, but here’s the secret—the hardware is almost exactly the same. We make our lamps in-house. No middlemen, no fancy marketing budgets, and definitely no brand-name markup. You get the same high-grade quartz and precision filaments, just without the overpriced box.
How the heat actually works
Piglets get chilled fast, and when that happens, you need heat that hits the mark immediately. That’s why we use short-wave infrared. Instead of just heating up the air around the pen (which is a waste of electricity), these lamps shoot a tight beam of energy straight into the animal. It’s efficient. It’s fast. And it keeps the piglets warm where it actually matters. We use high-purity quartz glass because it can handle the “shock” of turning on and off without cracking. But the real killer in a farm is humidity. Most cheap lamps leak at the end-caps, moisture gets in, and the filament burns out. We reinforced those seals to stop that from happening.
A few things to watch out for
More wattage means the lamp heats up faster. That sounds great, but there’s a catch. If you hang a high-density lamp too low, you’re risking skin burns on your piglets. You’ve got to get the mounting height just right. If you want to make life easier, grab a dimmable controller. It lets you tune the heat perfectly and—more importantly—it stops the filament from being under constant, peak-load stress. Your lamps will simply last longer.
Just swap them in and go
Since we use standard connectors, these are drop-in replacements. You don’t need to rewire your sockets or modify your fixtures. You get the same light, the same heat, and the same performance as the expensive brands. You just stop paying for a logo.
