That’s exactly why we built these 650W halogen lamps. They’re simple, drop-in replacements that get the job done without any fuss. The heat factor Here’s the thing: 650W is the sweet spot. It gets the surface temperature high enough to trigger that rapid plastic deformation you’re looking for. This keeps your cycle times low, which means more bottles per hour. The best part? The heat hits the preform wall exactly where it should, leaving the neck alone. But a quick heads-up: these things put out a lot of energy.
