Technical Deep-Dive
Let’s talk size. The 350mm length wasn’t an accident. It gives you enough surface to focus the heat right where you need it, but it’s short enough to slip into cramped chambers and tight spots. And the power? 2500W. That means high heat density, so you hit your target temperature quickly. Perfect when you’re on a tight production cycle and every minute counts. Running on 240V keeps things simple, since it lines up with standard industrial power. Wiring it into your control panel is straightforward. Just keep in mind, with this much power packed into a small space, you’ve got to make sure your system can handle the heat. Good ventilation and thermal management are a must. Otherwise, you risk cooking the parts nearby.
Material & Design
The halogen tech is the secret here. It keeps the output steady over the life of the lamp by regenerating the filament. So you don’t get that frustrating dimming you see with standard infrared bulbs. And the quartz envelope? It’s built to take the heat and handle the shock of rapid on-off cycles without breaking a sweat. We went with an R7s base. It’s a simple, two-contact design that makes it a drop-in fit for most existing sockets. The connection is solid—both mechanically and electrically. You get consistent contact, so no messing around with adapters. Just wire it up and you’re good to go.
Application & Benefits
This lamp is for the industrial jobs where space is at a premium and you can’t afford downtime. Think plastic processing, sealing, curing, or spot heating on a production line. The heat-up is almost instant, so you’re in control the moment you flip the switch. Packing 2500W into a 350mm tube creates a lot of focused heat. You’ll need to plan your mounting distance and airflow.
