This lamp is rated at 2000W for a reason. It needs to get hot, fast. When you’re running a tight cycle with PET preforms, you don’t have time to slowly warm up. That gives you a long, steady stretch of heating length, but it’s still slim enough to slip into the standard reflector housings you’re already using.

What It’s Built From
Inside that sealed quartz tube, the halogen cycle does its thing. It keeps the filament stable, even at scorching temperatures. The lamp comes with an R7s base. It’s a tried-and-true two-pin connector that gives you a solid, secure fit every single time. Installation is a snap. You literally just drop it in. No custom brackets to build. No wrestling with alignment. If your line uses a different standard, we can also set you up with an SK15 base. Either way, it’s designed to match what you already have.
Why It Works for PET Blowing
When you’re blowing PET, the preform needs to heat up quickly and evenly—without scorching the surface. Halogen infrared energy penetrates the surface fast, so the preform gets up to temperature without the outside getting burned. The 700mm length ensures you get even heating across the whole critical zone. And with the R7s or SK15 base options, you can get it wired up and running with barely any downtime.
One thing to Keep in Mind
Packing 2000W into a 700mm tube concentrates a lot of heat. That’s powerful, but it also means your machine’s cooling and ventilation need to be up to the task. If you run this in a sealed box with no airflow, the components will get too hot. But size the cooling properly, and you’ll get stable, repeatable heating that keeps your cycles consistent, day after day.
