We use heavy-wall quartz glass and halogen gas fills. Why? Because nobody wants a filament to burn out in the middle of a big run. Most of our B2B tubes use R7s or SK15 connectors. We’re obsessive about the measurements here. If a lamp is off by even 2mm, it won’t sit right in the socket. That leads to arcing or poor heat contact, and that’s a headache you don’t need. Plus, we’ve tweaked the coatings to shift the infrared spectrum. Instead of wasting energy by heating up the frame of your machine, the heat goes exactly where it belongs: into the PET.
