Or maybe the bottle looks a bit warped? If you&amp;rsquo;re running KHS or SACMI machines, you know the drill.&#xA;Usually, it comes down to cold spots in your preforms. Either your IR lamps are just worn out, or the thermal field is a mess. We build our replacement lamps to hit the exact spectral output PET resin needs. The goal is simple: get the heat deep into the preform wall without scorching the outside.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The nitty-gritty on power&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Our lamps are designed to be drop-in replacements. No hacking, no modifying. We obsess over the wattage-to-length ratio so everything fits exactly where it should.&#xA;For those high-speed lines, we use high-voltage setups to cram more heat density into shorter tubes. But a quick heads-up: check your transformer specs before you swap them. If you throw in a higher wattage lamp without dialing in the voltage, you&amp;rsquo;re just going to burn it out.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why the glass matters&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use heavy-wall quartz glass. Why? Because rapid cycling is brutal on equipment, and this stuff can handle the thermal shock.&#xA;We also center the filament to a fraction of a millimeter. It sounds like overkill, but it&amp;rsquo;s the only way to stop those &amp;ldquo;hot spots&amp;rdquo; that plague older KHS setups. Plus, we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors, so you aren&amp;rsquo;t spending all day on wiring.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Putting them to work&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here is the best part: these lamps have a much tighter thermal profile than the generic stuff you find online.&#xA;Because they&amp;rsquo;re more efficient, you can often turn your oven temperature down a notch and still get the same plasticity. Just be careful. Increasing the heat density puts more stress on your ventilation. If you push the wattage too high to make up for a slow cycle, make sure your cooling blowers can keep up. Otherwise, you might end up warping your reflector panels, and that&amp;rsquo;s a headache nobody wants.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
