No fuss.&#xA;We used heavy-wall quartz glass because rotary movements are violent—lots of vibration and thermal shock. We also spent a lot of time on the connectors. They&amp;rsquo;re precision-machined to stay tight. If a fitting is loose, you get arcing, and your end caps burn out way too soon.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A quick heads-up on the trade-offs.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: these lamps push a massive amount of energy into the preform in a very short window. That&amp;rsquo;s what you need for those high-frequency rhythms, but it does put a bit more pressure on your cooling blow-molds.&#xA;If your chilling system is already struggling, you might notice the oven getting a bit warmer overall.&#xA;One last tip: check your reflector alignment when you swap the lamps. If they&amp;rsquo;re off, you&amp;rsquo;re wasting about 15% of your heat.
